A well done to all the squad who played. We were up against stiff opposition today, rose to the challenge and I felt we played well despite the score line which didn't reflect our efforts. The teams are improving each game we play which is extremely encouraging to see. Well done and keep it up.
Congratulations to Jake Russel and Ewan Satterthwaite who won Man of the Match trophies. Both Jake and Ewan showed great awareness of the game and had the knack of being in the right place at the right time. Again both made some well-timed tackles and although Ewan played centre mid-field, was prepared to track back to mark up and defend against loose attackers arriving in our penalty area. Jake is getting better every time he plays. He is clearing the ball better and has an eagerness to to win the ball. Well done to both!
