Respect Code of Conduct for Youth Players
We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behaviour in the game. As a player, you have a big part to play. That's why The FA is asking everyplayer to follow a Respect Code ofConduct.
- Always play to the best of my ability
- Play fairly - I won't cheat, complain or waste time.
- Respect my team-mates, the other team, the referee or my coach/manager.
- Play by the rules, as directed by the referee
- Shake hands with the other team and referee at the end of the game
- Listen and respond to what my coach/team manager tells me
- Talk to someone I trust or the clubwelfare officer if I'm unhappy about anything at my club.
I understand that if I do not follow theCode, any/all of the following actionsmay be taken by my club, County FA or The FA.
I may:
- Be required to apologise to my team-mates, the other team, referee or team manager
- Receive a formal warning from the coach or the club committee
- Be dropped or substituted
- Be suspended from training
- Be required to leave the club.
In addition:
- My club, County FA or The FA may make my parent or carer aware of any infringements of the Code of Conduct
- The FA/County FA could impose a fine and suspension against my club
Warton Typhoons JFC Club Rules - Players
- All players must conform to the age levels as stated by the Football Association to be eligible to join their respective squads. Proof of age via birth certificates or other approved identification must be produced and copies kept on file for club use.
- All players must adhere to the player’s code of conduct. The action of any player deemed to have broken the players code of conduct, will be dealt with by the committee.
- A player may be asked to leave the club and have his / her registration cancelled, if it is felt that they have not acted within the best interests of the club.
- All players must wear shin pads whilst training or playing for the club and must dress appropriately for matches and training, taking into account weather conditions. Club merchandise is the preferred outerwear for all players and coaches on match days.
- All players must have the correct footwear as advised by the Team managers/coaches.
- All players must notify their respective Team manager at the earliest opportunity if they are not available for training/matches.
- Any new player joining the club will be exempt from training fees for two sessions. After this period, they will be consulted along with the parents by the coach responsible for that child’s squad as to whether they will be asked to formally register for the club.
